Thank you for visiting my site!  My name is Patricia ‘Pat’ Kuykendoll and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio.  I offer professional counseling from a Christian worldview.  I have enjoyed working with children in a school-based setting, adults, the aged in long term care, couples, and various ages in a community mental health setting as well as in private practice.

We are valuable because we were created by God.  That value is called inherent worth.  Yet in an imperfect world it can be difficult to embrace that truth and live out of that truth.  Perhaps that truth was never instilled into you as a child.  Perhaps because you were not able to see yourself with inherent worth, it impacted not only how you see yourself but how you live relationally with others and with God.

Maybe you are a parent who loves your child deeply but sees your child struggle.  Your greatest desire is to parent your child in a way that your child will understand their value and how to be in healthy relationship with peers, parents, and God.  Yet sometimes we parent out of our own woundedness.  Sometimes we just want to grow in our confidence and ability to relate to our child.

We live in a broken world, an imperfect place, and we all experience a woundedness because of a fallen world.  But wounds of the past do not have to determine how we live today.  You are valuable, you were created for healthy relationships, imperfect parents can parent well.

Hope awaits...

"When I said,'My foot is slipping,' your unfailing love, Lord, supported me."  Psalm 94:18 (NIV)

As a graduate from Liberty University with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a graduate of Cincinnati Christian University with a Master in Arts in Counseling, I am able to integrate a Christian worldview with psychology.  I find my Christian faith a source of strength and wish to use that strength in the counseling process.  I have completed the Parent Coaching certificate through the American Association of Christian Counselors.
